Artemis II Moon Photos in One Shared Album

Four astronauts are circling the Moon right now. Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen launched aboard Orion on April 1, 2026, and today they're skimming 4,000 miles above the lunar surface, snapping photos of craters no human eyes have ever seen up close.

What better way to show how Partoska works than to collect some of those photos in a single shared album?

A Live Demo, 250,000 Miles Away

We created a Partoska event called Artemis II and started dropping in some of NASA's public domain mission photos as they come out, including the Earth through Orion's window and the Moon's far side captured for the first time by human-operated cameras since 1972.

All mission photos courtesy of NASA, public domain.

The Artemis II crew named their spacecraft "Integrity". We figured the photos deserved a home that lives up to that name.

Why This Matters Beyond Space Nerds

The Artemis II demo isn't really about NASA. It's about a pattern you've seen a hundred times: Photos from a shared experience end up scattered across phones, group chats, and cloud drives. Some get compressed by WhatsApp. Some stay locked on someone's iCloud. Most never get shared at all.

A shared photo album with a QR code solves this for any event, whether it's a Moon flyby or a Saturday barbecue. Print the code, stick it where people can see it, and let the photos collect themselves.

How Partoska Works (30-Second Version)

Before the event: Create a free event. You get a QR code and a share link instantly.

During the event: Guests scan the code with any phone camera. No app install, no sign-up. They pick photos from their gallery and upload. Done.

After the event: Download everything as a ZIP, or set up automatic export to Google Drive or OneDrive. Every photo in full resolution, no compression.

That's it. The whole point is that it takes less effort than a WhatsApp group.

Try It Yourself

Check out the Artemis II album to see what a Partoska event looks like in action.

Then think about your next event. A wedding, a team offsite, a kids' football tournament. If four astronauts orbiting the Moon can have their photos in one place, so can your guests.

Create Your Own Event (Free)

Partoska's free tier handles most events easily. If you need more storage or longer upload windows, check pricing for upgrade options.

FAQ

Do guests need to install an app? No. Partoska runs entirely in the browser. Guests scan the QR code and upload directly from their phone's gallery.

What about photo quality? Full resolution. Unlike messaging apps that compress images, Partoska stores originals. You get exactly what was uploaded.

Is there a limit on the free plan? The free tier includes 25 MB of storage with a 7-day upload window. That covers most small-to-medium events. Upgrades are available at pricing.

Can I use this for my own event? Absolutely. Create an event in under a minute. Print the QR code, share the link, and let your guests do the rest.

Does the event organizer control what gets uploaded? Yes. Organizers can review and remove photos at any time. Check out features for more on moderation and privacy controls.
